Mandurah Philatelic Society (Inc.) and Peel Region Numismatic Group will host the Mandurah 2010 Stamp, Coin, Banknote and Postcard Fair from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 November.

The Fair will feature an activities area for youth, informative talks, national show souvenirs, daily show postmarks and door prizes across the three days.
The venue is the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, ideally located on the Mandurah Boardwalk, within easy walking distance of accommodation, restaurants and local attractions.
The exhibition will showcase the entries in one of the four competition divisions:
Division 1: National One Frame Numismatic Competition
Division 2: National One Frame Philatelic Competition
Division 3: National One Frame Postcard Competition
Division 4: National Australasian Philatelic Challenge Competition
The competitions provide an opportunity for collectors to display some of their treasured items at a national level and compete for the prizes on offer.
Entrants in Divisions 1, 2 and 3 will each create a sixteen-page display on a topic of their choice.
Each display will be mounted for public exhibition in an upright display panel known as a ‘frame’ – Division 1 coin displays will be exhibited in glass-topped cases. Adult entries in Division 4 will comprise five frames (as 5 x 16 pages), and Youth entries between two and five frames (depending on age).
A three-member jury for each Division will evaluate each exhibit and award a score out of 100. All entrants will receive a Certificate of Participation. Those scoring 55 points or higher will also receive a medal, with a Bronze Medal for scores between 55 and 59 up to a Large Gold Medal for scores of 90 or higher.
Many of the entries in Divisions One and Four will be vying for points in the Australasian Numismatic Challenge (Division One) or Australasian Philatelic Challenge (Division Four).
The two Challenges are team events, with a team of six people per Challenge for each of the nine zones:

Zone 9
Each Challenge team will comprise five adults and one youth. The entries from a zone are each to be on a different topic / theme. However, entries from different zones may be on the same topic / theme as one or more other zones.
Points awarded to individual entries from each zone will be added together to make a zone total. The zone with the highest number of points will be declared the winner of the Challenge for their Division and receive prizes for each team member.
